The committee evaluates nominees and presents the top-ranked candidate to the ASN Council for approval.
Membership
The Young Investigator Award Committee consists of two representatives from the ASN and one representative from the American Heart Association Council on the Kidney. In addition, the two most recent recipients of the Young Investigator Award serve two-year terms.
Term
Members serve staggered three-year terms (although the two most recent award recipients serve two-year terms).
