November 17, 2016 | 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Session Description

There currently exists no treatment strategies that have proven beneficial in thwarting acute rejection and even less therapeutic options exist for its chronic variety. There is also confusion and frequent misunderstanding of how to use immune and antibody monitoring in these conditions. This session addresses these topics.

Session Objectives

Upon completion of this session, the participant will be able to: 1. describe testing methodologies for antibody; 2. summarize current treatment for antibody-mediated rejection (ABMR); 3. discuss approaches to chronic antibody-mediated rejection (CABMR); and 4. propose design of trials to answer the many questions that need answers.
