San Francisco is one of the world's greatest cities. East meets West in the City by the Bay, which boasts tantalizing restaurants, unique neighborhoods, and sights and sounds that can't be found anywhere else. Visit the Victorian houses on fashionable Union Street, recall the 1960s in Haight-Ashbury, enjoy a meal in Chinatown, or linger over pasta and espresso in one of the trattorias of North Beach. Take a side trip to Napa Valley, Sausalito, Tiburon, or the Muir Woods. Whatever you choose to do or see, San Francisco is everyone's favorite! You will have two afternoons and every evening free to enjoy all this exciting city has to offer!
The Palace Hotel is the location for the ASN Board Review Course & Update. This historic landmark provides the atmosphere and quality service you would expect from an elegant city hotel. Its central location is just steps away from Union Square, the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), and the cable cars. The Palace is the perfect base for all your extracurricular adventures.
The ASN Board Review Course & Update concludes at the start of the Labor Day weekend, which means attendees can plan a holiday vacation in the Bay Area and still have plenty of time to study for the November boards. Once in town, you can visit the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau Visitor Information Center at 900 Market Street. Tour and Activity Information
As a registered ASN Board Review Course & Update participant, you are invited to take advantage of special tours designed for our group by Galavents. Tour options include a San Francisco City Tour with Desserts and Drinks on a one-hour Golden Gate Bay Cruise, Tour to Muir Woods and Sausalito with a Ferry Return, a visit to the infamous former federal prison Alcatraz, and a Gourmet Dinner in the Napa Valley.
