Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, will sponsor an international conference on April 23-26, 2009 in Boston, MA on "ESRD: State of the Art."
It has been 20 years since the provocative and seminal 1989 Dallas Conference on Morbidity and Mortality in ESRD. That conference spawned DOQI/KDOQI and other guidelines, governmental regulations and numerous research studies. At this 2009 conference we will examine the resulting and current outcomes, recent scientific advances, obstacles to care and ultimately a roadmap for the future.
