In addition to plenaries, lectures, symposia, and free papers, there will also be Continuing Education sessions to cater to the needs of the other professionals involved in the care of patients with kidney disease. We are also pleased to announce that the 14th Asian Colloquium in Nephrology postgraduate course will be held the day before the main congress. Another important pre-congress workshop is the Asian Forum of CKD Initiative 2008. This is a follow up to the first Asian Forum of CKD initiative that was organized by the Japanese Society of Nephrology in 2007.
