Exhibitor Advisory Committee
Mission Statement
The role of the Exhibitor Advisory Committee is to provide strategic feedback to the ASN leadership regarding exhibit policies to include policies for exhibits, housing, and any other related policies for future meetings. They will also serve in a problem-solving capacity to help resolve issues and conflicts and offer possible solutions.
In addition to the ASN Executive Director and staff liaison, the committee would be comprised of a cross-section of approximately twelve to fifteen exhibiting companies. We would also include a representative from the general contractor for the exhibition.
The committee would schedule up to four meetings a year, twice in person, once at Renal Week and once early the next year in the host city, and two times via conference call if required. Members of the committee must be able to make a commitment to be present or send a representative to at least three of these meetings. Company representatives would serve for a period of four years.
The committee will elect a chairperson who will provide leadership and direction to the committee; help establish committee goals and maintain communication with the leadership and staff liaison.
In addition to providing strategic feedback, the committee may also be called upon to make decisions regarding booth design and visibility, hanging signs (size and placement), booth giveaways, and other rules and regulations. In effect, the committee will become self-policing.
