Call for NephSAP Reviewers

On behalf of the American Society of Nephrology, thank you for your support of the association
and its activities.
The NephSAP Editorial Board invites you to become more involved in the editorial process for
NephSAP and further enhance the rigor of the question review by applying to serve as a
Currently, all NephSAP questions undergo review by the Editorial Board and our current
Review Panel of practicing nephrologists. We are seeking additional active ASN members
Board certified in Nephrology (or its equivalent outside the US) who have been in active
practice for at least 5 years to join the Panel.
Membership on the Review Panel is for four years. Each volunteer will be asked to review
questions from two to three issues of NephSAP per year for accuracy and clinical relevance. A
copy of a draft syllabus will be e-mailed to each reviewer. The syllabus is included for your
information; you are not required to provide comments on the syllabus unless you are applying
for CME credit for manuscript review. The review process is conducted electronically through
the ASN website. The time from receipt of the material to submission of your review will be
approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
Interested parties should complete the ASN Call for NephSAP Reviewers Form. The deadline
to apply is Wednesday, October 15.
