Executive Director's Message
ASN is already hard at work preparing for Renal Week 2004. The Program Committee and Postgraduate Education Program are busy planning an excellent program, which I'm sure you'll find extremely interesting and beneficial.
Part of the program includes poster and free (oral) communication sessions that are comprised of abstracts submitted through the ASN website. I'm pleased to announce that ASN's online submission site for Renal Week 2004 is now open. The deadline for abstract submission is Wednesday, June 9, 2004. Abstracts are once again only being accepted electronically, and the abstract submission site can be accessed here.
Call for Nominations
The ASN Council continues to solicit membership input to best represent and serve our membership. ASN members are encouraged to send suggestions for candidates for Councilor for the 2004 ASN Council election. A special effort is being made to diversify the composition of the Council, so please think diligently and carefully about potential candidates with a background different from the current members of the Council. All nominations must be received by Friday, April 9, 2004. Please click here for details.
The Council is also seeking nominations for open positions on ASN standing committees and advisory groups. Nominations must be submitted no later than Friday, May 21, 2004. Please think carefully about your interest in these opportunities, and forward your nominations and a current CV of the nominee to Karen L. Campbell, PhD, ASN Executive Director at kcampbell@asn-online.org, no later than May 21, 2004. Abstract Submission Site Open
ASN's online submission site for Renal Week 2004 is now open. The deadline for abstract submission is Wednesday, June 9, 2004, 11:59 pm Central Daylight Time (CDT). The abstract submission site can be accessed here. You may complete your abstract submission on your first visit or return to the site again, by using the user name and password you previously created. Your ASN membership dues must be paid through December 31, 2004, in order to submit your abstract without sponsorship.
