Session Description

Targeted genome editing with engineered nucleases is a novel approach to introduce stable genetic changes at preselected loci. Genome editing technologies can be applied in a broad range of fields, from basic biology to biotechnology and medicine. This session addresses these topics.

Session Objectives

Upon completion of this session, the participant will be able to: 1. integrate knowledge on genome editing techniques; and 2. summarize how genome editing technologies can be applied to engineer disease-associated variations in cells and disease models.
