Session Description

Developments in physiology and appearance of new drugs have altered traditional approaches to electrolyte disorders. This session reviews current approaches to diagnosis and management of common electrolyte problems.

Session Objectives

Upon completion of this session, the participant will be able to discuss current approaches to hyponatremia, hyperkalemia, diabetic ketoacidosis, and hypercalcemia.
