Glomerular Diseases Update 2019

Course Description

Knowledge about the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and management of glomerular diseases is advancing rapidly. In this program, a panel of experts in this growing field discusses these advances using lectures, interactive case-based discussions, and self-assessment questions with an audience response system. Participants learn clinical applications as they review updates in case management, pathology, genetics, and glomerular diseases in special populations.

ASN designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Course Objective(s)

Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to: 1) describe and integrate the pathology, diagnosis, and therapeutic options for glomerular diseases; 2) summarize information from current basic and clinical research studies and discuss applications to the diagnosis and management of glomerular disorders; and 3) analyze nuances in the treatment of patients with difficult glomerular diseases.
