Session Description

This interactive, case-based session discusses how risk prevention strategies, appropriate treatment, alignment with infection control, and ongoing stewardship are required to improve outcomes. Updates on the management of common infections and measures to reduce and treat catheter-related infections are reviewed. This session highlights the role of nephrologists in reducing infection among hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients.
