Bringing It All Together: Integrative Biology for Glomerular Disease

November 08, 2019 | 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM

Location: 206, Walter E. Washington Convention Center

Session Description

Cross-disciplinary approaches to glomerular disease integrate clinical phenotyping, morphology, genomic, proteomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic and metabolomic data to identify pathogenic pathways, biomarkers, and molecules relevant for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. This session summarizes some recent advances in integrative biology in the glomerular disease space.

Learning Objective(s)

  • Describe the application of a multi-omics approach to disease stratification and molecular target identification
  • Describe systems biology approaches to predict glomerular injury by pharmacologic agents in clinical use
