Session Description

Patients for whom a first transplant fails have poor outcomes on dialysis. Most research has focused on improving the outcomes of transplant failure patients on dialysis. This session examines the use of repeat transplantation and discusses how to successfully prepare patients for a second transplant.

  • Describe the unique considerations with a second living donor transplant
