November 07, 2019 | 04:30 PM - 06:30 PM

Location: Ballroom A, Walter E. Washington Convention Center

Session Description

Clinical research in glomerular disease has entered an exciting and very active phase. Several important trials have been recently completed, and many more are ongoing. This session summarizes the major pathway targets of emerging therapies in glomerular diseases. The results of recent trials and their implications for clinical practice are critically reviewed. Major ongoing trials of therapies under investigation are presented.

Learning Objective(s)

  • Describe the major pathogenic pathways being targeted by emerging therapies for glomerular diseases
  • Discuss the results of recently completed clinical trials and their implications for clinical practice
  • Describe the importance of raising awareness of ongoing clinical trials in glomerulonephritis
