ASN Hotel Shuttle

ASN has arranged a shuttle between select official ASN hotels and the convention center. Please note that hotels that are considered to be walking distance from the convention center will not be serviced by the ASN shuttles. Getting Around in Washington, DC

Washington, DC is serviced by the following three major Airports: Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) is approximately 5 miles from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Dulles International Airport (IAD) is about 28 miles from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is 30 miles from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Taxi

The typical taxi fare from Reagan National Airport to the Walter E Washington Convention Center is $23-$27. Taxi fare from the Baltimore Washington International Airport and Dulles International airport to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center is $75-$85. Many companies provide taxicab service at Reagan National Airport. If you need a taxi, simply follow the signs leading to the Transportation Plazas. A Customer Service Representative will place you with the first available taxi, unless you specify a particular taxicab company. At Dulles International Airport Washington Flyer Taxicabs is the exclusive provider of taxis. To access these taxis follow the signs for ground transportation or taxi to the lower level of the terminal, down the ramp to Door 2 or Door 6. A customer service representative is available 24-hours a day. Passengers wishing to board a non-Washington Flyer cab must make advance arrangements directly with the operator of that company for pick up at Dulles. At Baltimore Washington International Airport taxi stands are located just outside the baggage level of the airport terminal near doors 5 and 3.

Uber & Lyft

Uber and Lyft are transportation services that operate similar to Taxicabs. In order to use these services you must have downloaded the phone app and set-up an account before requesting the service.

There is a surcharge added to your fare for airport pickups, this surcharge varies based on day and time. For more specific pricing please download the appropriate app and use the "Estimate Fare" feature.

Union Station Train and Bus Information

Union Station Washington, DC is a major transportation hub in Washington DC with transportation: Amtrak trains, commuter trains, Metro, buses, and taxis. Union Station is 1 mile from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and accessible via taxi, Uber, Lyft, and metrorail. Metrorail

Metrorail provides safe, clean reliable transit service throughout the Washington, DC area. The Metrorail has six color coded rail lines: Red, Orange, Silver, Blue, Yellow, and Green. For more information regarding Metrorail please visit: https://www.wmata.com/service/rail/
