Session Description

With increasing age and comorbidity among adults with kidney diseases, knowing the principles of geriatric and palliative care is crucial for delivering optimal care. This session reviews the literature on geriatric assessment in older adults with kidney diseases, dialysis decision-making, maximal medical management, and timing and options for palliative care across the spectrum of kidney diseases.
