Session Description

Evaluation for secondary hypertension is important in patients referred for difficult-to-control hypertension. New chemotherapeutic agents, while providing dramatic benefits, have been associated with hypertension. This session provides updates on systematic evaluation of patients for causes of resistant hypertension and primary aldosteronism and guidance on drug- and device-based therapy.
