Thomas D. Wooldridge, MD
Thomas D. Wooldridge, M.D. graduated medical school from The University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1972. Following graduation he completed an internship in internal medicine at University Hospital of Jacksonville followed by residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Wooldridge completed a fellowship in Clinical Nephrology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1976 and was a Clinical Research Fellow 1976-1977. He is Board Certified in Nephrology and has been practicing in Tupelo, MS since 1977. He is an active member in several different Nephrology organizations, including, The American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Wooldridge has numerous publications that he has authored or co-authored along with several abstracts that he has presented.

Alvin H. Moss, MD
Dr. Moss is a Professor of Medicine in the Sections of Nephrology and Palliative Medicine at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He serves as Chair of the Coalition for Supportive Care of Kidney Patients. He led the writing of the first and second editions of the clinical practice guideline, Shared Decision-Making in the Appropriate Initiation of and Withdrawal from Dialysis. He serves on the editorial boards of the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology and the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management. He received the Distinguished Service Award from the Renal Physicians Association in 2011 and the Medal of Excellence Award from the American Association of Kidney Patients in 2015. He is a co-principal investigator on a grant funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation to integrate supportive care into the treatment of patients with advanced CKD and ESRD. His research interests include dialysis ethics and improving care at the end of life. He is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

In May 2020 she defended her thesis entitled Fluid management in haemodialysis: Studies on current practices and new methods. At present she holds a postdoc position in a research project about migration and health, at the department of Public Health and Caring sciences at Uppsala University, Sweden.
