During this session, experts in acute kidney care discuss challenges in caring for the most critically ill patients with COVID-19 and share lessons learned for care in future waves of the pandemic.

- Understand the critical care aspects of managing a patient with COVID-19
- Discuss the pathophysiology of AKI in COVID-19
- Describe the best practices regarding the use of PD in AKI

He is also the Vice President for Clinical Affairs, Home Modalities at DaVita Kidney Care. He received his medical doctorate at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA. He completed Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.
