Session Description

This session discusses rarely encountered glomerular diseases. The session focuses on the diagnosis and management of immunotactoid glomerulopathy, fibrillary glomerulonephritis, Fabry disease, C3 glomerulopathy, and COVID-19 associated glomerular disease.

Learning Objective(s)

  • Describe the pathology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of immunotactoid glomerulopathy and fibrillary glomerulonephritis
  • Discuss clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management of Fabry disease
  • Summarize the diagnostic workup for C3 glomerulopathy and explain how to manage this complement-mediated disease
  • Describe the spectrum of COVID-19-associated glomerular lesions
