Location: On-Demand, Virtual Only

Session Description

This session discusses significant advances to the fetal management of congenital anomalies of the kidneys and urology tract. The increased prevalence of advanced and ESKD among neonates and infants has led to necessary innovations in the care of these children, including the provision of RRT.

Learning Objective(s)

  • Identify the available fetal therapies to address congenital anomalies, such as bilateral renal agenesis and obstructive uropathy, and describe the impact these interventions have on the prevalence of advanced and ESKD in neonates
  • Describe advances in RRT for neonates and infants
  • Report the long-term overall, renal-specific, and system-specific outcomes for patients requiring RRT in early childhood

Learning Pathway(s)

  • Development and Pediatrics
