Session Description

CKD comes with its own nomenclature to support communication among providers, billing, and clinical documentation (e.g., CKD stages). However, the same nomenclature can be misleading or difficult for patients to understand. This session highlights patient perspectives, the history of current CKD nomenclature, and novel efforts to improve patient engagement.
