Session Description

Hypertension remains a major risk factor for outcomes in patients with CKD. Recent epidemiologic data suggest that hypertension control rates in the population are declining. This session reviews a major national initiative to improve BP control. Additional review includes new guidelines for defining hypertension in pregnancy and in children and managing hypertension in dialysis patients.
