Renal Biopsy: Clinical Correlations 2021

Session Description

This session includes complex renal biopsy cases presented by renal pathologists in a mini clinicopathologic conference with a nephrologist as the clinical discussant. Case histories, biopsy images, a syllabus with the diagnoses, and discussion of the disease entities are provided by each pathologist for their individual case prior to the session.

  • Assess histopathologic findings in kidney biopsies
  • Describe the differential diagnoses of various entities that present with similar histopathologic findings
  • Summarize the nephrologist's perspective on the significance of renal biopsy findings
