In addition to year-round sunshine and near-perfect weather, San Diego is home to 70+ miles of sparkling coastline, friendly locals, a vibrant downtown and an endless assortment of unique neighborhoods to explore. Beaches, museums, attractions, parks, recreation, nightlife and much more are located just steps from the Convention Center.

Across the street from the Convention Center in the exciting Gaslamp Quarter, is the city's premier dining, shopping, and entertainment area. From top-flight steakhouses and diverse fare, dinner clubs to jazz bars, over 100 restaurants - intermingled with dance and drink - are all situated within blocks of each other. The best part: all this is within walking distance of the convention center and along San Diego Bay. Experience Major League Baseball action at the 42,000-seat PETCO Park, home of the San Diego Padres or enter a floating city at sea on the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, along the Embarcadero.
