Location: W224, Orange County Convention Center, West Building

Session Description

This session reviews how pluripotent stem cells can be used to study diabetic kidney disease (DKD). The diagnostic and therapeutic use of stem cells is discussed.

Learning Objective(s)

  • Define the immunomodulatory function of stem cells
  • Describe how stem cells communicate with other cells (exosome and mitochondrial transfer)

Learning Pathway(s)

  • Diabetic Kidney Disease
  • CKD Non-Dialysis
