Fundamentals of Renal Pathology (In-Person)

November 02, 2022 | 07:00 AM - 05:35 PM

Location: W222, Orange County Convention Center, West Building

Session Description

This program is an introduction or a refresher for renal pathology, covering the classic pathologic changes recognized in diseases of native kidneys as well as renal transplant pathology. A blend of on-demand lectures and in-person laboratory sessions provide ample opportunities to ask questions and discuss cases with expert renal pathologists. Participants are provided with computers uploaded with digitized, whole-slide images (virtual slides) of biopsies of key diseases. Whole-slide images of mystery cases allow participants to test their mastery of the program material. All workshop cases are accompanied by clinical summaries and images from immunofluorescence and electron microscopy. World leaders in renal pathology provide attentive interaction, discussion, guidance, and interpretation of pathologic findings.

This in-person content will not be available virtually.

This early program requires a separate registration, and there is no onsite registration.
