Kidney Week 2022: Registration Overview

Kidney Week 2022 includes: four fully virtual Early Programs, three in-person Early Programs, and the Annual Meeting (both an in-person and virtual option). Each Early Program and the Annual Meeting have separate registration fees and offer continuing education credits. For information on registration rates, programs, and inclusions please see below.

  • Four Fully Virtual Early Programs: Critical Care Nephrology: 2022 Update, Glomerular Diseases: 2022 Update, Maintenance Dialysis, and Renal Physiology: Structure and Function in Kidney Health and Disease. All content will be on-demand beginning Wednesday, October 19 with live streamed content Wednesday, October 26 - Thursday, October 27. These programs have NO in-person component and do not require attendance in-person in Orlando, FL. All content will be available for up to 3 years. Each course has a separate registration fee and offers continuing education credits.
  • Three in-person Early Programs: Advances in Research Conference, Fundamentals of Renal Pathology, and Point-of-Care Ultrasound in Nephrology (NEW). Each Early Program includes on-demand content and in-person sessions in Orlando on Wednesday, November 2, as well as access to all recorded presentations for up to three years. Each has a separate registration fee and offers continuing education credits. Participants must attend these programs in-person. There is no virtual option.
  • ASN Annual Meeting (November 3-6): All sessions, posters, and exhibits will take place in-person in Orlando. Select sessions (such as plenaries and high-impact clinical trials) will be live-streamed for virtual participants. For virtual participants all other content will be available on the virtual platform within 24 hours of the original in-person session on the virtual platform. All meeting content will be available on the virtual meeting platform for in-person and virtual participants through Wednesday, December 21, 2022. In mid-January 2023, this content will move to the ASN eLearning Center for up to three years and continue to be complimentary to meeting participants who obtain an access code. Access code information will be available in late-October 2022.

In-Person Annual Meeting

In-Person Annual Meeting registration includes full access to all in-person and virtual event content including the scientific exposition, plenary sessions, educational sessions, and posters. Early Programs are not included in the annual meeting registration fee. To attend an early program, separate registration is required. Virtual Annual Meeting

Virtual Annual Meeting registration includes full access to all virtual content including live-streamed virtual plenary sessions; limited, select live-streamed educational sessions; on-demand educational sessions; and ePosters. All on-demand virtual educational sessions will be available within 24 hours of the original in-person session. ePosters will be available on November 3rd. Virtual registration does NOT include access to the scientific exposition or networking. Most sessions will be on-demand, not live-streamed. On-demand sessions will be made available within 24 hours of the in-person session.

Group Registration

The Group Registration Website will be available on August 10, 2022. You will need a unique email address for each individual. The online system allows tour leaders to add, update, and make changes to their registrations as well as process bulk payments for their group registrants.

Registration Payment

Registration will not be processed without payment. ASN cannot accept wire transfers for registration fees. A cancelled check or credit card charge is not necessarily proof of registration acceptance. All accepted registrants will receive written confirmation from ASN.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds, less a $150 fee, will be granted for requests received in writing prior to Wednesday, September 7 at 11:59 PM EDT. Refunds will be processed after the meeting. After September 7, only switching annual meeting registration type is permitted. No refunds will be given for the difference in registration type fees.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and sent to asnregistration@spargoinc.com. Cancellations will not be accepted by phone. Cancellations will be acknowledged by email. If you do not receive an acknowledgment within one week, please contact Customer Service at +1 (866) 849-8868 Domestic or +1 (571) 549-4543 International or by email at asnregistration@spargoinc.com. Refunds will NOT be given for no shows.

Children

All persons attending Kidney Week, including minors and regardless of age, must be badged. In order to receive a badge for a minor, please check the box to indicate so during your registration. ASN will send you an email once your registration has been submitted. You must complete the form within and return it to ASN in order to receive minor badge(s). If you do not receive an email, please contact meetings@asn-online.org directly. There is no fee associated with registration for a minor. Due to limited seating, regardless of their registration status, minors will not be admitted to Early Programs, Educational Symposia, or Exhibitor Spotlights. All minors onsite at Kidney Week will be required to follow the posted Health and Safety policies, including vaccination requirements.

Kidney Week 2022 Virtual Event Platform Access

Details on how to access the virtual event content will be emailed to your registration email address before the event. All early program and annual meeting registrants will receive information on or before October 19. If you do not receive this information, please check your spam folder first. If you cannot locate the email, please contact meetings@asn-online.org.
