Glomerular Diseases: 2023 Update

Support is provided by an educational grant from Vera Therapeutics.

Course Description

Knowledge about the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and management of glomerular diseases is advancing rapidly. In this early program, international experts in this exciting field discuss these advances using lectures, interactive case-based discussions, a debate, self-assessment questions with an audience response system, and panel discussions. Participants learn clinical applications as they review updates in treatments, pathology, genetics, and glomerular diseases in special populations.

ASN designates this blended learning activity for a maximum of 13.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Course Objective(s)

Upon completion of this program, the participant will be able to: 1) describe and integrate into clinical practice the pathology, diagnosis, and therapeutic options for glomerular diseases; 2) discuss information from current basic and clinical research studies and its application to the diagnosis and management of glomerular disorders; and 3) analyze nuances in the treatment of patients with difficult glomerular diseases.
