Location: Room 107, Pennsylvania Convention Center

Session Description

The primary cilia are central to the pathogenesis of a wide range of diseases that affect the kidneys, including nephronophthisis and ADPKD. This session explores current technologies to visualize and study the primary cilia, advances in understanding of disease-related mechanisms within and around ciliated cells, and potential therapeutic approaches to cilia-related kidney diseases.

Learning Objective(s)
