Basic/Clinical Science Session
Podocytopathy in Aging: Advances and Unanswered Questions
November 04, 2023 | 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Location: Room 103, Pennsylvania Convention Center
Session Description
This session explores recent advances in our understanding of the biology of aging in podocytes. The session highlights (1) novel insights into the mechanisms of podocyte aging in health and disease, (2) innovative models of the effects of aging on glomerular function, and (3) recent insights into the mechanisms of podocyte injury and repair and the contributions of mitochondrial dysfunction in aging.
Support is provided by an educational grant from Travere Therapeutics, Inc.
Learning Objective(s)
