Educational Symposium
Regulating the Regulator: Exploring the Therapeutic Landscape for Complement-Mediated Kidney Diseases
November 03, 2023 | 06:45 AM - 07:45 AM
Location: Grand Ballroom Salon D, Level 5, Philadelphia Marriott Downtown
Session Description
This symposium reviews advancements in the understanding of complement-mediated kidney diseases (CMKDs) with an emphasis on IgA nephropathy (IgAN) epidemiology, molecular pathogenesis, therapeutics (standard of care and emerging therapies), clinical trials, and models of care. International leaders provide a comprehensive overview of recent advancements in the understanding of CMKDs and IgAN, highlight the expansion of the therapeutic landscape, and consider emerging treatment strategies for various forms of CMKD.
Support is provided by an educational grant from Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation.
