Translational Session
Translating Evidence into Real-World Clinical Scenarios in AKI and Critical Care Nephrology
November 06, 2025 | 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Location: General Assembly B, Convention Center
Session Description
AKI remains a far too common complication in hospitalized adults and children. In recent years, progress has been made in AKI management, particularly in prevention. Significant challenges remain in translating this progress into everyday practice. In this session, experts use principles of implementation science to describe approaches to improving AKI care. The emerging role of artificial intelligence is highlighted, along with real-world case studies.
ASN thanks the Korean Society of Nephrology (KSN) and KSN Ambassador, Dr. Sejoong Kim.
