Clinical Management of Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic Diseases: Protecting Kidney Health
November 07, 2025 | 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Location: General Assembly C, Convention Center
Session Description
Nephrology professionals have a new armamentarium to consider when protecting kidney health. The American Heart Association announced their Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic (CKM) Health Initiative in the summer of 2024 following publication of their Presidential Advisory in the fall of 2023. ASN is committed to helping nephrology professionals and the care team understand the clinical management of people with CKM disease. In this session, experts review the landscape, the role of the nephrology care team, and opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
ASN thanks the ASN Diabetic Kidney Disease Collaborative Task Force for assistance with this session.
