Clinical Practice Session
Increasing Kidney Transplantation: State of the Art, Including the Barbara T. Murphy, MB BAO BCh, Endowed Lectureship
November 07, 2025 | 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Location: Grand Ballroom C, Convention Center
Session Description
The Advancing American Kidney Health Initiative and the Increasing Organ Transplant Access Model have brought to full attention to the need to substantially improve kidney transplant rates. To accomplish ambitious goals, it is necessary to seek ways of improving deceased donor organ use and organ quality, while also advancing living kidney donation. This session describes cutting-edge strategies to advance kidney transplantation rates that can be applied to current clinical practice.
ASN gratefully acknowledges Verici Dx, Renalytix, and the American Society of Transplantation for supporting the Murphy Endowed Lectureship.
