This session reviews the recent major US policy changes that influence the transplant ecosystem, including the Health Resources and Services Administration Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (HRSA OPTN) Modernization Initiative, new payment models, federal directives for new data collection, quality measures for transplant centers and organ procurement organizations (OPOs), and continuous distribution allocation policies.
