113th Congressional Kidney Caucus Kick-Off

March 20, 2013

ASN, ASPN, and seven other kidney patient and health professional organizations hosted a reception on Capitol Hill to launch the activities of the Congressional Kidney Caucus in the 113th Congress. Caucus co-chairs Rep. Tom Marino (R-PA) and Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA) attended the event and discussed priorities for the caucus in this congress. Nearly 100 people attended the event, which was also cosponsored by the American Association of Kidney Patients, the American Nephrology Nurses Association, the American Kidney Fund, Home Dialyzors United, the National Kidney Foundation, and the Renal Physicians Association.
