Sam M. Pederson
Mr. Pederson is a kidney transplant recipient and previous CAPD patient from Seattle, WA. Currently semi-retired, he has most recently been an executive coaching consultant for Vistage International. He has served on various non-profit Boards. He has served as Vice President, President and Board Member of Space Applications Corporation and is a previous member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). He is currently the President of the Board of the American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP). Mr. Pederson spent 14 years coaching CEOs of small to mid-size companies for Vistage International. Prior to that, he was Director, President and Chief Operating Officer of a $30 million aerospace engineering services company and instrumental in building the firm's reputation for responsive, high quality performance. He has executive level experience in the high technology industry and in government contract acquisition and performance. He co-authored a book on software project management. He has applied these skills and experience from his business career to Board positions with a number of non-profit organizations.
