Stephen M. Korbet, MD, FASN, BRCU Faculty

ASN Biography

Stephen M. Korbet, MD, FASN, is a graduate of Millikin University and Rush Medical College and completed his residency and a nephrology fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian, St. Lukes Medical Center (RPSLMC). He is a Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics, Pathology, and the Lester & Muriel Anixter Professor of Nephrology, the Medical Director at Circle Medical Management Dialysis Facility, and Division Chief of Nephrology at RPSLMC. Dr. Korbet has received numerous awards, to include Best Doctors in America from 2001-2012. His research focus is idiopathic and primary glomerulonephritides.
