ASN Biography

ASN Highlights - Transplant Team

Dr. True is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She graduated cum laude with her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. True has a research interest in recurrent glomerular disease following renal transplant. She is also passionate about women's health, particularly in the setting of kidney transplant. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) and Women in Nephrology. She has served on the Executive Committee of the American Society of Transplantation?s Women?s Health Community of Practice and ASN?s Postgraduate Education Committee.
