Basic/Clinical Science Session

Clinical Research in Nephrology: Trials, Trends, and Tools

November 09, 2019 | 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM

Location: 140, Walter E. Washington Convention Center

Session Description

Data from the past suggest that there is a dearth of innovation in nephrology. Over the last 5 years, there have been changes that suggest a bright future. This session reviews the current landscape of clinical trials, discusses opportunities for community engagement from a primary investigator’s perspective, and shares several patient-oriented strategies to assist with clinical trial recruitment.

ASN thanks the Kidney Health Initiative for assistance with this session.
