Chi D. Chu, MD, MAS is a nephrology research fellow at the University of California, San Francisco. As part of his fellowship at UCSF, he completed a Master's degree in clinical research. His research centers on the quality of chronic kidney disease care across the spectrum from early detection and awareness to implementation of evidence-based therapies, with a particular interest in how clinical risk prediction could be applied to advance effective and equitable care delivery.

Dr. Marjan Afrouzian is the Director of the Renal Pathology Services at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, practicing, educating and performing research as a tenured Associate Professor of Pathology in both Departments of Pathology and Internal Medicine. She has been the Chair of the Banff Thrombotic Microangiopathy (TMA) Working Group since 2015. She launched a Banff Working Group composed of nephrologists and pathologists from around the world to generate consensus on minimum criteria for Diagnosis of TMA in renal allograft. Progress reports of her study have appeared in the past three Banff reports published in Transplantation.

Dana Bielopolski, MD, PhD
Dr. Dana Bielopolski received her MD and PhD from the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University in Israel. She completed her internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at Rabin Medical Center in Israel. Her current position since July 2019 is an Instructor in Clinical Investigations at the Rockefeller University in New York. She is leading both a clinical trial and big data analysis, two projects that are linked by the common aspect of hypertension prevention and early diagnosis of kidney long term consequences. In 2020 she received the NKF Young Investigator award.

Krishna A. Agarwal, MD, MBBS, FASN
Dr. Agarwal is a nephrology fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is originally from Delhi, India, where he completed medical school at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College. He moved to Boston in 2014 to pursue a Research Fellowship in Prof. Terry Strom’s Immunology lab at Harvard and then internal medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center in Western Massachusetts. His ultimate clinical interest lies in Transplant Nephrology with a research focus in long term allograft survival and transplant tolerance. When not working, Dr. Agarwal enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
