Reaching the Edge: Kidneys in Advanced Heart Failure
November 05, 2022 | 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Location: W311, Orange County Convention Center‚ West Building
Session Description
Heart failure is common, costly, and deadly. It frequently requires multidisciplinary management, especially because recent medical and technological advancements have resulted in exponential improvement in patient survival and increased complexity in their care. This session discusses the nephrologic aspects of care for patients with advanced heart failure (such as a patient with a left ventricular assist device on maintenance hemodialysis) and provides an update on how nephrologists can have a role in their management.
Learning Objective(s)
