Session Description
The session discusses four aspects of nutrition in the care of patients with kidney diseases. The role of plant-based diets is explored in the control of CKD progression. In defining aspects of personalized nutrition care, the presenters also discuss global access to kidney nutrition care in relation to the Global Kidney Health Atlas. Then the kidney diet is discussed from the perspective of patients who follow it.
