Clinical Practice Session
Glomerulonephritis in Systemic Diseases: Emphasis on Emerging Therapies and Prognosis
November 04, 2022 | 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Location: W415 Valencia, Orange County Convention Center‚ West Building
Session Description
For decades, systemic diseases characterized by glomerular and other vascular involvement have been treated primarily with corticosteroids and other highly nonspecific immunosuppressive agents. However, an increased understanding of the pathogenesis of these diseases has led to newer treatment approaches, some currently in use and others in development and in clinical trials. This session focuses on such approaches in several systemic diseases that frequently manifest as glomerulonephritis (GN) and vasculitis.
Support is provided by an educational grant from Travere Therapeutics, Inc.
Learning Objective(s)
