Session Description
Natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies occur regularly around the world. This session explores ways nephrology teams can respond during a crisis to best care for their patients and how to work with support agencies. This session addresses how to be strategic and effective during times of inadequate supplies and water for dialysis.

- Explain how nephrology teams can prepare patients for emergency situations
- Describe how emergency assistance can be obtained from provider companies, nongovernmental organizations, and governmental agencies
