Personal Statement:

I have been an active member of ASN since 2001 and served the Society in numerous capacities. Although my focus is on pediatric nephrology and the patients we serve, I have worked with my internal medicine nephrologist colleagues to advance care and advocate for all patients with kidney disease. My tenure as an inaugural KHI Board Member allowed me to see firsthand the impact the ASN has on transforming outcomes for patients with kidney disease. I am seeking this Council position to bring my unique perspective to the Society, given my experience at the intersections of the ASN mission.
