Charge

Review award applications, reaching consensus based on the approved evaluation process, and making a recommendation to ASN Council as to the top-ranked candidate; in years where the applicant pool does not meet the award criteria, the committee may recommend to ASN Council that no award shall be presented.

Policies and Procedures

Current ASN Councilors and members of the subcommittee may not nominate a candidate nor co-sign a letter of nomination. A member of the subcommittee must recuse himself/herself from any discussions concerning a candidate from his/her institution.
