November 02, 2017 | 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Location: Room 262

Session Description

Taking effect by January 1, 2019, implementation of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015 will overhaul physician payment and aim to transform health care delivery systems nationwide. In late 2016 and 2017, CMS will unleash final details on how health care professionals will participate in the program and when it will take effect. This session explores the most significant and controversial aspects of the new program.

ASN gratefully acknowledges the Northwest Kidney Centers and its contributors for support of the Christopher R. Blagg, MD, Lectureship in Renal Disease and Public Policy.

ASN thanks its Policy and Advocacy Committee and the Renal Physicians Association for assistance with this session.
